Important Tips To Help You Get Ready For Your Appointment
Trying to decide when to schedule your annual chimney and fireplace maintenance? The best time for non-emergency service is March through September. The fall and winter can be packed with chimney troubleshooting and repair services, so spring and summer are when we’ll be able to take care of regular maintenance for you fast.
Once you’ve made your appointment, there are only a few things left to do:
- If you’ve been using your fireplace or stove, make sure to give it a break the day prior to your appointment. We need to ensure our technicians are working on a cool appliance for their safety. Please make sure any ash is removed from the firebox as well.
- Prior to our arrival, we ask that you clear the 5-6 ft. area around the appliance we’ll be working on. We want to make sure your valuables and property are safe and protected, and this helps us ensure that while providing us ample space to set up our equipment.
That’s it! We’ll confirm your appointment 24 hours prior to our scheduled date and time to make sure everything is still a go. If you have any questions during your service or would like to watch our technicians work, we encourage it!
